As BMVA ELEKTRONİK San. ve Tic. A.Ş. (“BMVA”), we work to protect the privacy of our users in order to ensure that they can benefit from our services in a secure and complete manner. Accordingly, this BMVA Privacy Policy (“Policy”) has been prepared to ensure that the personal data of our users are processed in full compliance with the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (“Law”) and to inform our users in this regard. The BMVA Cookie Policy is an integral part of this Policy.
The purpose of this Policy is to determine the terms and conditions regarding the use of personal data shared with BMVA or generated by BMVA during the use of the website www.kiwi.com.tr (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”) operated by BMVA by platform members/visitors/users (collectively referred to as the “Data Subject”).
Which Data Are Processed?
Below are the categories of personal data processed by BMVA and considered personal data under the Law. Unless otherwise expressly stated, the term “personal data” within the scope of this Policy includes the following:

Pursuant to Articles 3 and 7 of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data, data that have been irreversibly anonymized shall not be deemed personal data, and processing activities related to such data shall be carried out independently of the provisions of this Policy.
Purposes of Processing Personal Data
BMVA may process personal data provided by the Data Subject for purposes including, but not limited to: creating and maintaining membership registrations and accounts; enabling the Data Subject to benefit from services provided through the Platform; detecting system errors, monitoring performance, and improving the operation of the Platform; providing maintenance, support, and backup services; carrying out necessary activities by relevant business units to allow users to benefit from BMVA products and services; managing related business processes; customizing and recommending products and services according to users’ preferences, usage habits, and needs; planning and executing promotional activities; carrying out BMVA’s commercial activities; ensuring the legal, technical, and commercial/workplace security of BMVA and its business partners; and planning and executing BMVA’s commercial and/or business strategies.
Personal Data Processed Based on Explicit Consent
Within the scope of the Data Subject’s explicit consent, BMVA may process personal data for purposes such as tracking user activities on the Platform to improve user experience, generating statistics, profiling, direct marketing and remarketing, creating and delivering personalized promotional offers, and using such data in advertising and promotional materials. Such data may be shared with the parties specified below.
Transfer of Personal Data
BMVA may transfer personal data belonging to the Data Subject and new data obtained through the use of such personal data to third parties from whom BMVA receives services, limited to the purpose of providing such services, in order to achieve the purposes set forth in this Privacy Policy.
Personal data may be shared with external service providers (including SMS service providers), hosting service providers, law firms, research companies, and call centers for purposes such as improving user experience (including personalization), ensuring security, detecting fraudulent or unauthorized use, conducting operational evaluations, resolving Platform-related errors, and fulfilling the purposes specified in this Policy.
In accordance with Articles 8 and 9 of the Law, personal data may also be shared with BMVA company officials, shareholders, business partners, suppliers, legally authorized public institutions, and legally authorized private institutions.
Method and Legal Basis of Personal Data Collection
Personal data are collected electronically via the Platform. Personal data collected on the basis of the legal grounds stated above may be processed and transferred for the purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of the Law and in this Privacy Policy.
Rights of the Personal Data Subject
Pursuant to Article 11 of the Law, data subjects have the right to:
• Learn whether their personal data are processed and request information if processed,
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether data are used in accordance with that purpose,
• Know the third parties to whom personal data are transferred domestically or abroad,
• Request correction of incomplete or inaccurate personal data and notification of such corrections to third parties,
• Request deletion or destruction of personal data if the reasons for processing no longer exist and notification of such actions to third parties,
• Object to results arising against them through analysis exclusively by automated systems,
• Request compensation for damages arising from unlawful processing of personal data.
Requests regarding these rights may be submitted through the methods specified in the “Policy on the Processing and Protection of Personal Data” prepared by BMVA under Law No. 6698 and published on www.kiwi.com.tr. BMVA will finalize such requests within thirty (30) days. BMVA reserves the right to charge a fee based on the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board, if applicable.

Consent and Amendments
By closing the cookie notification and continuing to use the Platform, users are deemed to have given consent to the use of cookies. Users may change their cookie preferences at any time.
BMVA reserves the right to amend this Policy at any time. The updated Policy shall enter into force upon publication on the Platform.
